As the final move in my portfolio update, I’ve completed the Websites and Videos pages with my latest creations.
I’ve added four of my past games to the Games page.
Defend Portugal
A simple online game which I developed as part of the website Portugal.nl. The goal is to defend the harbour of Lisbon from attacking pirates (Yarrr), using your tower which is full of cannons (boom).
Galileo
Galileo is my first big game. It was a school project, and our team consisted of 40 people. It’s a mod for Unreal Tournament 2004
Order of the Fox
You are a member of the Order of the Fox, a secret society aiming to protect and preserve the secret of Magic. Your mission is to save some other members of the order, who have been captured and are in a heavily guarded prison.
Battle for Middle-earth II: Deluxe Edition
The Battle for Middle Earth II: Deluxe Edition was a mod that intended to deepen the gameplay of EA’s Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle-earth II and make the game more interesting.
Check them out on the Games page.
Watch this video explaining how the current economical crisis began, and see how a well-made video can make a boring subject interesting and understandable (just like a good teacher, by the way).
Here’s a video I made a loooong time ago, but never actually put up here. It’s a compilation of Fiat Pandas which I shot when on school exchange in Italy (Poppi, to be precise). Along with scooters and tiny pickup trucks, there were a lot of these things around there.
The future of the web. A must see if you’re into that stuff (like me).
This awesome short demo video was made by a Dutch amateur, almost completely by himself. Hollywood almost instantly expressed their interest in him, and for good reason. Check it out.
The video is a test, to see if this concept could be used for a full-length movie. I think it can. What do you think?
Another photo, which I edited in the same way as the second one in the previous post (meaning I only took one photo).
And today, a special coloured version. What do you think?

If you like Lord of the Rings, maybe you’ll like The Hunt for Gollum. It’s a fan movie about Aragorn’s, well, hunt for gollum. They made this in their free time and with a very low budget (£3000), but it’s turned out rather well. Here’s the trailer:
You can watch the full version (40 minutes) on their official site, completely for free. They also have an IMDB profile. If you like it, also check out Born of Hope, a similar project.
Here are two HDR photos I made this evening. They’re my first ever, so be kind
.
For the first one, I took two pictures with my camera phone, which I merged with Photoshop (I used automerge to align the pictures, but did the mixing by hand).
For the second one, I only took one picture. I made a copy of it, changed some settings on both and merged them by hand.
