  • Announcing the Revora Magazine!

    Revora Magazine

As you may know, I’m one of two network leaders over at Revora Creative Network.

For a few years now, there has been talk there of creating a Revora Magazine. Quite recently this idea was picked up by our staff. A dedicated team has worked on it for a while, under the effective leadership of Dancam, and now, after all this time, the magazine has become reality!

You’re probably wondering what this whole thing is about and it’d be a pretty good question. Keeping it simple, we are a representation of the wider community here at Revora. In this monthly online magazine, we will be highlighting the best project and mod related work going on out there, give you a greater insight into the minds of those keeping this place alive and hopefully have a little bit of fun along the way. I hope you’ll take the time to read through the articles that we’ve put together for you and that they will keep you interested enough to check out our work in the following months as well. ~Dancam

  • Why spaces are bad…

Unfortunately, that’s correct English. In Dutch however, compound words should always be without spaces. So Dutchmen, check out SOS, and save the world from slow, annoying and confusing (as displayed above) text.

  • Websites and Video updated

As the final move in my portfolio update, I’ve completed the Websites and Videos pages with my latest creations.

  • New portfolio and projects pages

Posted on May 27th, 2009 Bart No comments

As you can see, I’ve done away with the pages “Projects” and “Portfolio” and put their content in three new pages: Games, Websites and Videos, where I’ve applied a new style. By making this stuff more accessible, I can now use this website as a portfolio when applying for an internship or job.

Another photo, which I edited in the same way as the second one in the previous post (meaning I only took one photo).

    Water HDR

And today, a special coloured version. What do you think?

  • Website Reboot

Posted on May 17th, 2009 Bart No comments

As you can see, I’ve made some drastic changes to this website. After not having touched it for a looong time, I decided to get back to work on it. Here’s what I’ve done and or will be doing:

    • Upgraded to Wordpress 2.7.1 (from 1.5 something)
    • Changed the theme to one that supports this new version
    • Deactivated the Language Switcher Plugin. Maintaining a website in two languages is more work, so I’ll stick to English
    • Added some things to the sidebar, such as my Last.FM widget and an excerpt from my Google Reader shared items feed
    • The coming days I’ll be uploading stuff I have lying around
    • I’ll also update the projects and portfolio pages

Until I’ve fixed everything, you’ll see some broken or ugly pages, often in two languages with funny tags between the text. Just ignore those for now.

  • New Theme

Posted on November 22nd, 2008 Bart No comments

Yay, I have a new theme. The old one was a bit old-fashioned. This one is cleaner and more modern.

I’ve also enabled the nice URLs (2008/11/22/new-theme instead of ?p=46). More friendly, both for humans and Google.

  • Hello world

Hi, welcome to my new website, now with blog. From now on I will use this site to post about my projects, adventures or whatever other things I would like to share with the world (such as a movie review).

I recommend using an RSS reader to receive new posts whenever they are made. A good one is RSSOwl.

    See you in the comments!
