Now on Delicious

I’ve been sharing items through Google Reader for a long time now, but unfortunately (though logically) it doesn’t allow me to share things that I come across on the web without being linked there from a feed. For this reason I’ve now started using Delicious. You can see my shared items on my Delicious page, in the “My Bookmarks” sidebar on the right side of this page and through my Delicious feed.

I need a help!

I just came across somebody asking for “I need a help” on Stack Overflow. Litso and I decided that this should be the next big internet meme. What better way to accomplish that than…Lolcats!

Click on them to go I can has Cheezburger, where you can vote on them, to get them to appear on their (hugely popular) frontpage. You can see more of my lol’s here.

Let me Google that for you

Do you get annoyed when people ask stupid questions online? Things like “What is Vimeo?”, which they can just google. Don’t worry, there’s a website (if you can call it that) which will help you educate these lazy bums! It’s called Let me google that for you.

Next time somebody asks a stupid question, go to that website and enter some search terms. It will generate a link like http://lmgtfy.com/?q=vimeo which you can send to the dumb-question-asker. If he/she clicks on it, they’ll go to a page that looks like Google. It will educate the user, then send them to the search results. Try it out.

iCheckMovies

If you like movies (who doesn’t?) you should check out the new site iCheckMovies. It works a bit like Last.FM. You tell the site which movies you have seen (you “Check” them) and it will calculate a list of movies that you would probably like. This is me, and this too:

As a young student in the big city, my life is of course quite exciting. On this site, I share a small part of it with the rest of the world.

At the age of 21, I’m almost finished my bachelor in law in Utrecht. Because I couldn’t choose between law and journalism when I was younger, I decided to fill my free space with a minor journalism. Now I finished the minor, I use the website to keep writing. Events, special and daily thing, if it has a story, you will probably read it or see it on the site.

I helped set it up and am hosting it by the way, so if you encounter any technical bugs you should contact me.
