I’m a professional game developer now, but have been making games for a long time. For school, or just for fun. You can see them all here.

Storm Assault (2009)Upcoming… |
Victory Engine (2007)The Victory Engine is a free, open-source modular game engine for Java. Everything is a component, so you can use it for 2D games, 3D games and you can write your own 4D component when the time comes. |
OpenWar (2005)OpenWar was originally going to be a new free, open source 3D RTS (Real Time Strategy) Engine for the PC. Our goal was to create a strong, but flexible foundation which will allow people to make their own RTS games with relative ease. |
Finished Games
Defend Portugal (2009)A simple online game which I developed as part of the website Portugal.nl. The goal is to defend the harbour of Lisbon from attacking pirates (Yarrr), using your tower which is full of cannons (boom). |
Galileo (2008)Galileo is my first big game. It was a school project, and our team consisted of 40 people. It’s a mod for Unreal Tournament 2004 |
Order of the Fox (2008)A game concept and UT2004 demo level for a school course in game design. You are a member of the Order of the Fox, a secret society aiming to protect and preserve the secret of Magic. Your mission is to save some other members of the order, who have been captured and are in a heavily guarded prison. The download includes the concept and level design documents (in Dutch) and the level itself. |
Battle for Middle-earth II: Deluxe Edition (2006)The Battle for Middle Earth II: Deluxe Edition was a mod that intended to deepen the gameplay of EA’s Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle-earth II and make the game more interesting. I was the founder, designer and coder for this project (Clément Roy a.k.a. TDP did the art). Unfortunately it was never finished because of so-called feature creep. |
Metal Gear Liquid (2006)Metal Gear Liquid is my own version of the Konami game Metal Gear Solid which I made for Java-equipped mobile phones. It was a school project in my first year. I’m happy to say I received full marks for it. |
Poppetje (“Walking Guy”) (2005)A really small game which is about collecting blue dots. These dots are protected by evil walking guys with knives, which have a larger brain than you’d expect. This little game was made for simple AI practice, but it’s fun to kill some free time. |
Energy Boy (2004)Energy Boy is a small three-level game in which you play a boy looking for renewable energy sources. I made it in my 4th year of secondary school (comparable to high school). Like Metal Gear Liquid (above), I received full marks for it. It has two isometric maze/collecting stuff type levels, and one top-down scrolling shooter (on a hovercraft!). |
Bakfiets Racer 1 & 2 (2002)Bakfiets Racer is the first game I ever made, and got me interested in this wonderful industry. I made it with Game Maker, a great and free application for beginning game developers (at least when I used it). Not much later I remade the game, and called it…drumroll…Bakfiets Racer II! |
