Galileo
The game is about a frog (Galileo) whose dad is kidnapped by a stork. He goes on adventure to bring him home, crossing through town, walking the depths of the castle and fighting the rat mob.
The game was developed as a school project. We worked on it with the whole class (40 people) for about 8 weeks (including coming up with the concept and documenting and presenting the result). We were divided into 5 teams: Story, Art, Level Design, Sound and Programming. My part in this group was the leader of the Level Design team (also level creation), which included actually designing the levels on paper and overseeing (and taking part in) their realisation.
Play
The game is a modification for Unreal Tournament 2004, which you need to play. Because of a bug with melee weapons in the original, you need at least patch 3369.
To play, download the mod below, extract the zip into your UT folder (so you’ll have, for instance, C:\Games\UT2004\KikkerGame\) and run Launch SP Framework.bat inside it.
Documents
These documents (in Dutch) can provide some insight into the development process of the game, at least my part in it.

- My Portfolio (a document we make to show the teachers we are competent)
