Assassin’s Creed II, Splinter Cell and more…
Posted on June 2nd, 2009 1 commentThis week is the week of the E3! See the many great announcements by Microsoft, Nintendo and especially Sony here. Some of my personal highlights below:
Assassin’s Creed II
Splinter Cell: Conviction
Too bad it’s a 360 exclusive, which I don’t have. Stupid MS with their bag of money…
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune was a great experience, and this looks to be just as entertaining.
Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time

Posted on June 1st, 2009 No commentsThis is a promotional video (on TV) for parties in the nearby town of Boxmeer, a year ago. I made it for my father.

4 new games
Posted on May 30th, 2009 No commentsI’ve added four of my past games to the Games page.
Defend Portugal
A simple online game which I developed as part of the website Portugal.nl. The goal is to defend the harbour of Lisbon from attacking pirates (Yarrr), using your tower which is full of cannons (boom).
Galileo
Galileo is my first big game. It was a school project, and our team consisted of 40 people. It’s a mod for Unreal Tournament 2004
Order of the Fox
You are a member of the Order of the Fox, a secret society aiming to protect and preserve the secret of Magic. Your mission is to save some other members of the order, who have been captured and are in a heavily guarded prison.
Battle for Middle-earth II: Deluxe Edition
The Battle for Middle Earth II: Deluxe Edition was a mod that intended to deepen the gameplay of EA’s Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle-earth II and make the game more interesting.
Check them out on the Games page.

The Crisis of Credit
Posted on May 29th, 2009 No commentsWatch this video explaining how the current economical crisis began, and see how a well-made video can make a boring subject interesting and understandable (just like a good teacher, by the way).

New portfolio and projects pages
Posted on May 27th, 2009 No commentsAs you can see, I’ve done away with the pages “Projects” and “Portfolio” and put their content in three new pages: Games, Websites and Videos, where I’ve applied a new style. By making this stuff more accessible, I can now use this website as a portfolio when applying for an internship or job.

Fiat Panda
Posted on May 25th, 2009 No commentsHere’s a video I made a loooong time ago, but never actually put up here. It’s a compilation of Fiat Pandas which I shot when on school exchange in Italy (Poppi, to be precise). Along with scooters and tiny pickup trucks, there were a lot of these things around there.

What’s in the Box?
Posted on May 22nd, 2009 1 commentThis awesome short demo video was made by a Dutch amateur, almost completely by himself. Hollywood almost instantly expressed their interest in him, and for good reason. Check it out.
The video is a test, to see if this concept could be used for a full-length movie. I think it can. What do you think?

Water HDR and coloured
Posted on May 21st, 2009 No commentsAnother photo, which I edited in the same way as the second one in the previous post (meaning I only took one photo).
And today, a special coloured version. What do you think?
